Each year on the 15th day of Spring Equinox, the people of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan take part in what’s known as the Qingming festival. On this day of commemoration, people bring offerings for their ancestors and sweep the tombs of the departed. The day is also a celebration for the hope for what the Spring season will bring.
