What is This SEO Stuff Anyway? Part 2
By Michael Kaleikini
Last time, I wrote about how business owners are still a bit behind on how e-Marketing can help their business. Once they do get into it, they have a tendency to get some of the way in, but find out later they missed a few things necessary to make that particular marketing campaign work at its fullest potential.
Look, even if you're a small business doing less than 5 Million a year, you should be somewhere on the internet. (Unless you sell medical screws then you're door to door.)
When a company decides it's time to get out on the internet, it needs to be found. SEO companies can get you there to the top 10 or just to the top period. This costs, and according to what budget you have to spend on advertising or marketing, SEO can be of great benefit and get you a great Return on Investment. BUT, you have to know who's true and who's a clown (and believe ye me, there are quite a few out there)
SO here's a Couple tips on finding the right one for you:
It pains me to think that there are still proud entrepreneurs out there that think they know better. Please. PLEASE heed this; You cannot just make friends with someone and think they are going to do you well, this realm of e-Marketing changes with the tides, and if your "guy" isn't up to date on things, your company will suffer.
When you find the right company, you will find that your lead flow will greatly increase, sometimes doubling the flow of leads depending on your service area, and your intended target market.
Oh, and by the way, the SEO company I met with? It was a very interesting and promising meeting. She's a young aspiring Entrepreneur herself looking to grow her business. Her Company's name is Addoptimization. She approached us with honesty and transparency. Not always a good thing but in this case with what she was proposing for our purposes she was right on. Very good business Etiquette, very enthusiastic (yup she can sell), very passionate about her business, and very compassionate to the person that doesn't quite understand what SEO is. She took the time to school me a bit on what SEO can do and how it actually works. Not that I remember much of what she said, but I do remember it making sense enough that I would trust her enough to give her a run at my product or service through my website.
So, SEO huh? Sounds like a great Idea...let's do it!
Keep it rolling!
