Google Webmaster Tools – Skewed 'Links To Your Site' Data

This morning a member of our SEO programming team noticed that all his link data was missing when viewing Google Webmaster Tools.

Some investigation into the matter helped him learn that there was a lag in the link counts being reported – however this issue has been rectified.

If you use Google Webmaster Tools to report on the number of links for your website, it is expected that it will take a day or so before all sites in Webmaster Tools to be refreshed with the most recent link counts.

Communication from a Google representative can be found within the Webmaster Tool Forums
