Microsoft Launch Engagement Mapping
Microsoft are in the process of launching a new online advertisment-tracking program that allows for the monitoring of the customers last click before a purchase, along with a number of other clicks that may have lead to that purchase decision, a term they have coined ‘Engagement Mapping’.
The idea of this new program, is to allow for more detail about users’ e-commerce habbits. Microsoft hopes this will decrease market share of Google’s products that relate to Analytics and other methods of tracking.
Keep an eye on this Engagement Mapping, as it is only early days.
