The Australian Financial Review has stated that Internet Advertising is continuing to climb, with search dominating the sector into 2008. Worldwide advertising revenues are also predicted to grow from $US26.2 Billion ($30 Billion AUD) in 2007 to $US30.5 Billion in 2008.
JP Morgan has also stated that ‘The Market will expand at 28 percent, hitting $US60 Billion by 2011’ according to a report released entitled ‘Nothing But Net’.
As always, Google will account for the lions share of revenue, with more than 60 percent of the global market. According to recent reports, Google’s share of the search market is growing despite increased competition from Yahoo! and Microsoft.
