Google Gets Tough on Spam
Google has once again launched a new algorithm. This update is intended to better detect and reduce spam in Google’s search results, and also lower the rankings of scraper websites and websites with little original content.
It has also been changed due to the emergence of new forms of webspam, as well as traditional webspam consisting of pages that have a lot of keywords and phrases without context or meaning that ‘cheat’ their way up to higher search rankings.
Google will continue to implement multiple changes that should help drive spam levels even lower. These should primarily affect websites that copy others’ content, and websites with low levels of original content. Hopefully this will encourage websites to have more original and revelant content!
