On Monday Superbrands, a brand analysis organisation, disclosed that Google had overtaken, among others, the BBC, Microsoft and British Airways to become the most highly regarded business brand in the UK. The trend was that media companies in general performed much better then industrial brands which goes a long way towards illustrating the importance of building the level of trust, engagement and loyalty in a brand in order to ride the waves of turbulent economic times.
