Social Networks Adding a Chat Function
A company called Vivaty, a start-up in Menlo Park, California, has created a 3D virtual chat room that users can add to their social networking profile pages.
The release of this function is part of a progressive move that is seeing many more hours spent on programs such as Facebook and MySpace.
This will be no ordinary chat room, it will be a virtual space which will allow the user to navigate through a small world that includes photos on the wall from that users profile and a YouTube video playing on a virtual widescreen TV to name a few.
Multiple people are allowed in these ‘rooms’ at a time, meaning it is like incorporating 2nd Life into Facebook.
Very interesting if you ask me.
Maybe there could be an AdSense wall?
