Over the last couple of months I’ve had a few journalists interview me about E-Web Marketing and what makes us special. We have a very different company culture here than what you may typically see in other companies, but I’ve always found it difficult to give an elevator pitch on what our point of differences are. At the end of the conversation, people tend to remember that we have a really big games room, a sleeping room, or a lot of fun office decorations, but the E-Web Marketing difference goes a lot deeper than that.
From its core, the E-Web culture is driven by our company vision:
“We exist to bring Happiness, Success and Fun to everyone we encounter. We are E-Web Marketing”
We like to call it HSF for short, which stands for Happiness, Success and Fun.
To everyone at E-Web, we hold HSF close to our hearts as it is ingrained as part of our company culture and defines who we are. To outsiders, it could just be three generic words.
So what does HSF really mean?
The topic of HSF is so big that I can write multiple blog posts about it, but I’ll save that for a different time. What I find though is that unless I have at least 30 minutes to an hour to run through examples of what HSF really is, it is hard for someone from the outside to get a true sense of what our vision is about and how E-Web is different to any other online marketing agency out there.
After conducting a quick survey with our staff, clients and partners on what they thought was our main point of difference were when compared to other companies they have worked with in the past, the overwhelming response was that
Armed with the result from the survey, I’m going to try and use the “We care” tagline as the elevator pitch to our point of difference, as well as a lead in to what E-Web’s vision is about. I will share with you on what feedback I get.
Have you had any challenges in coming up with a good elevator pitch for your business’ point of difference?
